The information presented is concise and a good primer or refresher on the subject. In some places it could possibly been a little clearer. My approach was to print both the course document and the test work sheet. I worked all of the calculations required to answer the test questions as I went through the course document and this was very helpful in learning all I could from the course. It compares very favorably with in-person continuing education classes done by a major university school of engineering I have attended.

An outstanding course. Very much information here. The material is well written and detailed in explaining all equations and the basis for the theories of runoff estimation. The examples are clearly explained and all steps shown. The author clearly explained the differences of the Rational Method v. SCS Method. The photographs included are extremely helpful in explaining coefficients and how to assess different terrains. The one item that really stands out is how the author, in the closing Conclusions, neatly and orderly wrapped up all the data, method of observing, calculations, etc., into a concise explanation of the presented material. This format method provided a quick way to do refresher study or actually begin one's own design and estimation in practice. The material explaining the Stankowski Method was personally used and compared to the aforementioned Methods. This course has real value and substance and provided new information. I plan on taking additional courses provided by the author.
