Hiren Shah, P.E. is a licensed professional engineer with 22 years of experience in the design & construction of school, pharmaceutical and mission critical facilities. He received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Birla Vishvakarma Vidyalaya Engineering College in India. He received his master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from City University of New York, USE. He is a licensed professional engineer in 21 states in the USA. In addition to his engineering licenses, he has been certified by LEED (BD+C) from the U.S. Green Building Council.
Hiren started his career in the design of the Central Utility Plant for chilled water, hot water, steam system along with design of emergency generator. He also worked in the design and construction of a school, pharmaceutical plant, clean room, lab, and packaging unit projects. Lately he is heavily involved in mission critical facilities electrical and mechanical design, and construction management. He is currently a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
Hiren enjoys providing voluntary services in the temples, along with spending time with kids and family.
