Eric L. Brault graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1995 with his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and began his career as an inside Project Engineer for The Trane Company, working out of the St. Louis Commercial Sales Office. Eric was fortunate to be mentored by a Sales Engineer with decades of experience and learned the fundamentals of HVAC design, equipment selection, HVAC system design and control. In 2001, Eric joined a large Design-Build Mechanical Contractor in St. Louis as a Design-Build engineer, Project Engineer and Project Manager. Rock Hill Mechanical Corporation was an extremely fast-paced environment, where Eric worked on many projects and was exposed to Sheet Metal and Piping System Fabrication techniques. Earning his PE License, Eric performed HVAC, Mechanical and some Plumbing designs for Healthcare, Institutional, Commercial and Pharmaceutical projects. It was here that Eric first joined ASHRAE, SMACNA and started to attend ASHE meetings.
After spending some time in the Consulting field as Director of Operations and Mechanical Department head, in 2012 Eric took a position as a Corporate Engineer for the largest Polycarbonate and ULTEM plastics manufacturing facility in the United States. The primary position was focused on Infrastructure and Eric also successfully executed projects in the Lexan Resin and ULTEM business units. In the fall of 2015, Eric came back to St. Louis where he joined CRB as a Mechanical Discipline Lead. Performing HVAC and Mechanical designs on large-scale Pharmaceutical projects, Eric managed Mechanical, Plumbing and Fire Protection designs for these projects. As a member of ISPE, Eric continued to develop his knowledge of cGMP design.
With a relatively brief position with another St. Louis Design-Build firm, Eric decided to branch out on his own where he brings his experience to Commercial, Institutional, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Warehouse and Industrial Clients. Licensed in nine states, Eric provides design, construction and commissioning services while further developing his knowledge of each industry.
