Mr. Wiley is a Mechanical Engineer, residing in Louisiana, engaged in contract engineering in the forest products arena. His education includes Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Wood Science and Technology from Louisiana State University. He also holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Texas A&M University. He is a Professional Engineer, registered in Louisiana and Texas.
His work experience includes seven years of research in applications of wood, six years as a plant engineer at a large plywood and lumber mill complex, and 33 years of consulting engineering, primarily focused on design of forest products processing facilities. He has worked as lead Mechanical Engineer in detail design of conveyors and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment in support of sawmill operations. He has participated in overall layouts, process flow planning and equipment selections for all types of Forest Products plants. In addition, he has served as lead Mechanical Engineer in diverse chemical projects and compressed natural gas (CNG) stations.
