Kwabena Ofosu currently serves as the Traffic Engineer in the Public Works Department, City of Palm Bay, Florida. He is also an Adjunct Professor in the Division of Architecture, Engineering and Technology at Valencia College, Orlando, Florida, where he teaches undergraduate courses in Statistics and Probability for Engineers, Engineering Mechanics, and computer applications for engineers.
Kwabena earned his Bachelors degree, with Honors, in Civil Engineering from the University of Science and Technology, in Ghana. He earned his Masters degree and PhD, both in Civil Engineering from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.
He is a licensed professional engineer (P.E.) in the State of Florida (PE# 71729), and the State of Ohio (PE# 73059). He holds the Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification from the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE).
His research areas include bridge engineering, transportation asset management, and artificial intelligence.
