This was a very good way to introduce Python. I found it easy to learn and lots of great examples to show how flexible the language is.

This was an excellent introductory course in Python, especially for those of us who only remember a little about Fortran, PLC, and Basic.

I have done some programming before (QBASIC, C++, Visual Basic), but not Python. This is a good introduction to Python; it starts with the basics. Not sure why other reviews say the test has incorrect answers - it doesn't. I got 100% just fine.

362-Python Programming for Engineers - Part 1: Expressions, Data Types, Variables and Strings
The course was well done and presented BUT this is an engineering class and I cannot think of any instance where I care about anything covered. The final program was what the whole class should have covered. How do I solve engineering problems, not what is a string or how do I manipulate them. I was sincerely planning to work on mastering Python and using it in my daily work, but I plan to throw away the "Python" book I bought and forget about Python forevever.

Good introduction to Python. If you are familiar with BASIC this to me was very similar.

This is indeed a basic introduction. If you know nothing about Python, it's a good start. There was a bit too much in the course on actually getting and installing an IDE. If it takes that level of detail to download a program, maybe the user is not ready for Python ... just me.
I have one nit - a tuple really is a basic data type, even if it is composed of a collection of items, given the number of classes of tuples. A string is really a specialized tuple.

This course test has at least one incorrect answers. The documentation is sometimes confusing The code on one of the test questions would not execute correctly, leaving me to guess at the answer. (Despite all this, I did pass the test.)
I've taken numerous Suncam courses and have been very pleased with all of them except this one.

Question 13 doesn't give me the value . . .
Question 25 indicates that "any" python interpreter can run a python script. Wouldn't it be better to say "any compatible" python interpreter? Python version 3 is out, and there are difference to the previous versions.
Other than that -- good review of python, thanks for putting this out there.
