I was an overall very good refresher course and I even learned at few things that I have never learned or clearly forgot completely! I am going to have my lab manager take to test to better understand the tensile/flexural testing he performs on plastics.

After now completing all four of the courses in "What every engineer should know about structures", and having spent 25 years in HVAC design/engineering, I find that reviewing this material long ago would have been a real aid in my daily work. I have a much better appreciation for structural drawings that must be coordinated with, and a better feeling for what's happening in the suspension members that support mechanical equipment.
