Permeate Recovery Rate is a function of Source Water Salinity. How can this not be true? If source water is sea water vs brackish water, the Pr changes why would it change if not a function.

gnp review of Management of Desalination Plant Concentrate
Having first worked at a government desalting facility on the lower Colorado River early in my engineering career, I have kept up with the technology over the years. I found Voutchkov?s course to be solidly grounded and well-explained regarding desalination plant operating parameters, RO equipment and the various techniques for managing the brine waste. The author has done an exceptional job preparing a most useful engineering overview. I highly recommend this course.
