Session did a good job of outlining several areas which need to be considered in analyzing project performance. Especially helpful was discussion of Lessons Learned. I've never been in an organization where this is done well. Something to be considered as we look into our future.

There are fundamental errors in the progress tracking portion of the course, which takes up over 2 hours of the 3.5 hour video.
The section on Gantt charts (applicable to CPM schedules in general), after exaggerating the effort involved in updating, ends before getting to the real purpose of an update, that is, to re-calculate and re-forecasts the completion date, thus characterizing the schedule as a static tool that only provides current status because of a gap in the author's understanding of scheduling.
The presentation of EVM is rife with errors:
Terminology: there is no such quantity as "Cost To Completion". There is Cost AT Completion (BAC, EAC) and there is Cost-To-COMPLETE (i.e., ETC, estimate to complete). The discrepancy makes the sample calculations meaningless and the lesson flawed and confusing.
In the presentation, CPI/SPI are applied to the total budget and/or schedule duration to arrive at final estimated cost (EAC) and time. This neglects both the reality of where the project currently sits in terms of cost and time consumed, but also spreads the inevitable error resulting from applying these blunt instruments. CPI and SPI need to be applied to the remaining cost and time budgets to obtain ETC (estimate to complete) and estimated remaining duration, using one of several published formulas.
The initial sample calculation used to present EVM concepts and calculations fails to clearly distinguish between tangible progress and spending, muddying what is a simple concept.
EVM is a powerful tool that can be applied to all manner of projects and while it is true it was invented in a government context, it is not useful to repeatedly refer to EVM as something to use on government projects and/or to provide data to satisfy government auditors ("Just give the auditors CPI and SPI and they'll be happy").

I really enjoyed this course and saw a lot of value in it. Although now retired I had over 40 years experience in engineering, most of it in project management. During that time I made almost every mistake and misstep discussed in the presentation. I wish I had seen this presentation 20 years ago, it would have saved me a lot of pain; and I intend to recommend it to my former associates who are still active in project management.

Well presented, with good mix of real live examples referenced. Just found some of his black/white example, particularly related to overtime not being effective. Depends is not just a delay tactic, it is a good drill down point. Also found statements like "no real difference between 20% and 70%" a bit surprising. I get it, just trying to make point, but huge cost and schedule implications glossed over.

"People are really like that...."
Very good underscoring about why various points are important to make or break a project. Good indication that projects may be evaluated differently for different reasons and that projects are "salvageable" for most of their span of time, if the break-down patterns are recognized and dealt with in an appropriate manner.

Contrasting three projects, one badly done, one done okay and a third done particularly well would also be helpful and could be tied in with how to evaluate projects. Better yet make it another 4 CEU short course to complement the other three! Above all, keep it practical but research based.
