The instructor of this course provided a clear, concise presentation of project management fundamentals. Numerous examples were articulated to illustrate the key points. The only issue I had was that a few slides in the handout document were not shown or discussed in the video - perhaps they were removed from the video on purpose but inadvertently left in the handout? That confused me a bit. Overall, however, this was a very good course.

a good foundation
This is not a COMPLETE project management course, but the foundation is set.
I found it most helpful to understand what the programs such as MS Project are doing, along with strategies to use in managing a project.

Streaming online video used up a lot of my daily web access allowance -- maybe a less intense option could be made available

Very thorough and informative. Provided down to earth, experience-based descriptions of "how projects evolve" and how they can be effectively, pro-actively managed from a number of perspectives (e.g. structure, time prediction, cost and schedule monitoring, closeout). I found the early termination portion particularly enlightening. I don't usually have to consider this aspect (in construction), but can understand (now) how it could be a step to be considered for some project types.

Overall, I think the course was excellent. I particularly liked the sections on the Gantt Chart and Earned Value Management and hope to implement them sometime in the future.
In regard to the slides that can be downloaded, I have three suggestions as follows:
1. The first slide should read "Foundations of Project
Management" as that is the complete and proper title for the
course.
2. In the "Project Scope Management" section, under the "Problem
Statements" slide, "Goals and objects" should read "Goals and
objectives".
3. The last slide under the section "Project Scope Management" is
shown as "Project Closeout." Since Dr. Pinto did not cover
this slide under "Project Scope Management" during his
lecture, shouldn't this slide be better placed under the
section entitled "Project Termination" adjacent to the slide
entitled "Elements of Project Closeout Management" ?

The Instructor was very methodical and concise. He made very good use of the time avaiablbe. The eplanations were very clear and the examples were very realistic and practical. A few typos here and there but the instructor was very well prepared.

Excellent Overview of Fundamentals for PM's (PE's)
The course was well presented by the speaker and well supported by the presentation slides. I wish that I had this information when I first started out many years ago. The network explanation and examples were excellent. However, there was a slide "Duration Estimation Methods that was addressed but the following slide had a two question assignment that was not explained or answered in the video regarding Task S-Z, Predecessors, a b c. Again, this presentation was very well done and practical/useful/applicable for this industry.
