Really enjoyed this course. I worked as a 3rd party special inspector in 2011 when the eng market was hard to find work. Then I eventually went back to struct eng. Fun to read about rebar inspection. Good course.

The text could use some updating. It is somewhat out of date and hard to follow in a number of areas as the photographs and graphics interrupt and don't align with the text.
Several test questions are not discussed in the text. In particular the one related to maximum depth for vibratory compaction. I have been working with concrete for a couple of decades and the answer of 30 feet is not practical nor is it used in actual construction as 30 foot pours are not common.

I had a bad feeling about this course when on the first page the author refers to the craft installing rebar as "ironworkers" rather than "rod-busters".
The material presented is both out of date, and somewhat opinionated.
The reviewer is mistaken. Ironworker is the proper term.
