Very good course, more experienced based with practical applications. Like the first course, the questions require close reading.

Very interesting course - even more so because I do my own home appliance repairs, and I learned a fair amount in that regard.

the answer on 25 is wrong. PRV doe not shut off water service.
sorry thats just wrong
The course author had this response:
The reviewer is not correct. He needs to read Attachment B in which a manufacturer explains the operation of the valve. When street pressure is higher than downstream pressure the valve is closed to enable control of the downstream pressure to a lower value.
He may be confused by the terminology “normally open” in the industry which refers to the initial configuration of the valve at manufacture, not to its typical operating condition which under normal operating conditions (no downstream demand) is closed...

Fairly decent course. Several "typos" in form of missing/wrong words in sentences. Some confusing jargon makes it difficult to select correct answers in test. Pictures do not generally follow associated body text discussions. Many pics do not show problem discussed clearly.

The course provided some good hands on explanation of the appliance failures in forensic investigations. I would have liked it to include more information on pipe failures. Particularly in regards to corrosion control problems, as in Flint, MI.
