Last question is not completely clear. Maybe it was intended to be but I doubt any jurisdiction would allow the FFE to be below all surrounding grade, a portion, like your course indicates but the question is not clear if it is all or a portion.

I am a retired transportation engineer proposing to get back into the workforce taking on a position requiring my PE stamp for site designs. Good introductory course for site grading design. Sometimes the text was confusing and would have been better served by providing drawing examples. For example the sections on inverse slopes, the so-called high side of the curb, and flushed ramps. Just provide some section details.
