This course is very concise and identified to me the differences between heat load calculations for air conditioning and heat load calculations for refrigeration.
Some formulas that were given required a little research on my part to help me remember the factors that were used. The spreadsheet is very useful although there seems to be a safety factor built in that causes slight mismatches between the formulas in the text and the results of the spreadsheet.
In all I found this course very useful.

Jeff's coarse is great. I made a 90. I'm getting old, slow, and my attention span is short.

Excellent course for the subject. It covered the basics well and brought up some very helpful and pertinent load sizing pointers I had not given much thought to previously. Also, the Load Calc. program is one of the best.
A minor issue but I believe some text correction is in order concerning Insulation Materials (Page 10 of 26).
Extruded Polystyrene (XPS) is closed cell, not open cell.
Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) is open cell, not closed cell.
Typically, EPS has voids between the molded beads. But all EPS being open cell may be arguable. There is one insulation manufacturer that offers a EPS insulation product claiming its structure is closed cell.

Good Course
An excellent course but a real 'bear' for a Civil Engineer.
